Owner/Operator Star Barks
Affectionately called the "Boss Lady"
As the owner/operator our goal since Star Barks opened its doors in 2008, is to provide healthy food for all of our furry friends on Saltspring Island. With 30 years of retail experience, customer service is key and our priority. After years of ferry rides off the island to pick up dog food and supplies for five dogs in our immediate family, opening a local business with the same healthy products became a reality. The best part of having Star Barks is all of our four legged visitors.... especially the puppies!
Hayley Jackson
aka "The Organizer"
Hayley has been part of the Star Barks team since our doors opened. She started with us working weekends, and since graduating in 2010 has become a vital part of our staff. Her organizational skills are superb, which is a huge asset to our business. Hayley is well versed in her knowledge of pet health and is always happy to recommend products that best suit your pet.
